Poland; My First Solo Adventure Travel Part 5

 30 May (Third Day)
------------------------------

Leaving Zakopane to Krakow at 10.15am

 Zakopane Coach Station
Went back Krakow using Szwagropol coach service
(20zt per person)
The driver of the coach that I got on I think he was assuming himself a F1 racer because he drove so fast like mad ! So I don't really recommend this coach company unless you got no choice~ Haha !

 Greg & Tom Hostel
Awarded 3 times in a row being the BEST hostel in Krakow !
It deserves the award as the hostel staffs are super friendly and kind enough to introduce briefly all the attractions and restaurants with nice food !
Highly recommended to anyone going to Krakow due to their best services and also its good location as it is located near to Krakow Glowny, the main train station.

 My bed in 5-bed dorm
Every bed has their own locker and the hostel do provide padlocks for you when they pass you the hostel keys. So no worries if you didn't bring any padlocks along with you ! :)

 Common area

I had met quite a lot of Asian people (Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia & Australia) which gave me a sort of like 'friendly' feeling as I didn't meet any Asians in Zakopane during the first 2 days..haha !

 Krakow Glowny
Krakow Coach Station is just located next to Krakow Glowny

 Galeria Krakowska
A big shopping mall located just next to Krakow Glowny. All the shops were closed on that day as it was public holiday (Catholic day)

On the way to Old Town

 Passing through a park

 Passing through Pijarska Street

A stall sellling wall art paintings

 Florianska Street

 Souvenir shop

 Old Town

 St.Mary Basilica

A lot of people gathered here due to Catholic Day

Super lots of birds here ! Not a good place to come if you're afraid of birds :p

 Panorama view of Cloth Hall

 Panorama view of Old Town
It is the biggest town hall I've ever been compared to Old Town of Tallinn, Estonia & Vilnius, Lithuania

 Krakow Spy Map
The design is so cute and I still keep it until now :D

 St. Adalbert Church

Hostel staff recommended me to go to their Wawel Castle which is about 7 minutes walk away from Old Town. There are quite a lot of churches in Krakow even in just a short distance of walk !

Dominican Church

 St. Martin Church

 St. Andrew Church

Outside view of Wawel Royal Castle

 Street view from Wawel

 Wawel Cathedral

 Panorama view

Statue of Pope John Paul II

I didn't spend long time in Wawel as I was not interested going into the cathedral/museum XD

 Street view

And it's time for brunch ! I went to the restaurant which was recommended by my hostel staff :)

It was quite hard for me to find it actually because I didn't really ask for the direction from my hostel staff. So basically I just found it coincidentally XD

Pod Wawelem which serves the traditional Polish cuisines. It is just near to the Wawel Castle :)

The restaurant was considered full of people but I was still lucky to get a table when I went in. Soon after, the restaurant was overcrowded and many people waiting for tables queueing until outside of restaurant ! 0_0 Luckily I came early XD

Inside restaurant

 Complimentary appetizers ?
Pickled cucumbers and white radishes

COLD beetroot soup with hard boiled eggs (9 zt)
Since I have tried the warm one, I went for the cold one since I never try it before and it's a tradition to have cold one during warm days and warm one on during cold days. But too bad I couldn't stand the taste of it because it tasted like alcohol to me :/ So I just left it aside after had a sip of it. I still prefer the warm one XD

Roasted Pork Knuckle Hungarian Style with Farmer Style Potatoes (approx 27 zt)
Highly recommended for all ! It was quite delicious !
At first planned to try the traditional roasted pork knuckle but the waitress said it weighs from 1kg+ and therefore she don't think I can't finish it :/ Therefore, she recommended this to me :)

And the restaurant do provide a complimentary shot of vodka/liquour before you go. But too bad I don't drink :p

A recommended restaurant to try when you're in Krakow !

When I was still in restaurant, Krakow had started to rain and it got heavier and heavier which made me decided to go back to hostel early. The rain was super heavy like those in Malaysia and many people were 'hiding' in the souvenir shops waiting for it to stop.

And me had to keep my camera inside my bag due to the super heavy rain while searching for a nice magnet of Krakow. To be honest, souvenirs in Krakow are quite pricy to me and the design of the magnets are not really nice.

Oh well, so I just picked one randomly and got back to the hostel at 4pm. And my shoes were all wet =.=

Pity the horses and they still need to work during that bad weather :/

My hostel do provide dinner so I just had my dinner there while making friends and had chat with all the Asians staying there.

31 May (Fourth Day)
------------------------------
And the next day, I went to Krakow Coach Station before 6am to get the shuttle to Katowice Airport using Pyrzowice Ekspres company (11 euro each person)

Bought this as my breakfast before going to Katowice. I don't know what's the name but you can see many stalls selling it with different choices in Krakow (1.70zt each)

And I arrived in Birmingham airport and got a coach back to Sunderland reached at 9.30pm~

So basically that's the end of my Poland trip. Even though it was a short trip, but I had a good and different experience throughout my own trip.

Don't afraid to travel alone when you have chance to do so because you might can find your true self throughout the journey.
(Hmm..I'm not really sure whether I've found mine or not :p Haha..)

Life is just too short for regrets, so make it amazing :)

Dziękuję !! :D
