Annyeong Korea! [Day 3]

Annyeong ! Another post for my Korea trip!

It's Day 3 and is also my birthday! :)

Yeah..Happy birthday to me :p

Not much celebration, but got brownies as my birthday 'cake' and a bottle of soya milk at 12am were good enough for me :)

And received Pobling facial cleansing brush as present! Yeah :D

Sorry no pics..all in my hp or instagram..hahaha

Thank you Fui Yin and Winson! :D

Moving on the morning time, we headed to Insadong which is around 10 minutes walk away from our hotel..

We went around 9am and most of the shops still not open yet..Oh dear...so we just walked walked around and looking for restaurants for brunch and we've found this! :)

Another language barrier..donno what is its english name..but many tourists actually stopped by here and had their meals here and wrote some notes at their walls :)

 Free side dishes :)

 My lots-of-vege- porridge
Not bad :)

 Winson's dumplings :)

 Fui Yin's kimchi pancake

30,900won for 3 person :)

Then we went to hunt for our souvenirs because many people said we should go Insadong if we're looking for souvenirs with cheap price :)

And I've bought all my souvenirs with total of approx 40,000won..hahaha..

 A plaza located inside Insadong

Went into the pharmacy to buy another box of flubiprofen lozenges..and the price was cheaper compared to that of Myeongdong :)

 Outside of the pharmacy

 U-shaped ice-cream cone! :)
We've tried it in Myeongdong yesterday so just took pic only :p

After that we've headed back to hotel and had short rest before heading to Myeongdong for our dinner..

Before we went to our dinner, we did some shopping in Myeongdong

Mamonde Gift set 70,000won
TonyMoly 10,390won

nothing much to shop..main reason is because not enough money liaooo...hahahahaah

Dinner time!

We've tried to look for Baekjeong restaurant to have our Korean BBQ but sadly we couldn't find it so we just randomly popped into a random shop for our Korean BBQ

Taste was okay but sorry no pics again..hahahaha!

Then we headed to Namsan tower! :)

Namsan tower
Entrance fee: 9,000won
Cable car: 6,000won single trip, 8,500won return trip
Direction: To reach the cable car's boarding place, come out from Exit 3 of Myeongdong station (Line4) and walk for about 10-15 minutes following the street of the right side of the Pacific hotel

The place was super crowded with humanssssss!
Actually I've regretted for opt for cable car to go to the Namsan tower because we've waited for quite long just to get into the cable car and we didn't actually have chance to look at the scenery from inside of the cable car because there were lotsss of humansss...

So a quick advise for you guys, don't opt for cable car..it's just not worth the price for paying the fee and become 'sardine' squeezing with other humansss :p

 Namsan tower :)

Actually we've planned to get into the tower but there was another long queue buying the entrance ticket and another queue going up to tower =.=
So we've decided not to go up because we are sick of queueing and waiting

Save $$ :D

 Love locks tree :)

 Selfie of the day :D

 Unfocused pic+photobomb

 Groupfie of the day :D

 Pic of the day :D
With additional filters :)
You don't need to go up to the Namsan tower also able to take this pic :D hohohoh...

My bag and our shopping loots of the day :)

We got onto Shuttle Bus No.3 to get back to Myeongdong..

For your information, there's actually 3 shuttle buses operating to the Namsan tower..you can actually go into Namsan tower's official website to get more information :)

Price is only 850won which is damn cheap! Wondering why I don't just get shuttle bus to Namsan tower =.='''

Hahahahaha...

Short post only for today!

 Day 2 is up!

We went to Busan station early in the morning to catch the 8.30am KTX train to Seoul

And I was having fever when I woke up and finished all my ibuprofen tablets :( Luckily it had subsided after taking it :)

Busan-Seoul 53,300 won
I think was around this price, Sorry I've thrown the tickets away :/

 In the train

After ~3 hours journey, finally we had arrived Seoul!

Went to our hotel, GS hotel but we couldn't able to check it yet coz it was still early so we just left our luggages there and headed to Trickeye Museum

GS Hotel
Add: 5-5, Donhwamun, Jong no-gu, 110-420, Seoul, Korea
Seoul Station M1 Subway towards UijeongbuAlight at Jongno 3(sam)-gu (3 stops)
Come out from Exit 2 (I think?)First T-junction turn left
You will see Shinhan bank on your right hand side
Walk straight until about the end of the street
I think it was at second last alley on the right side of the street
Just take note everytime you pass through an alley
There will be a 'GS Hotel' signboard near the alley :)
Turn right when you see that and you are there !
Hope this helps because Goggle map won't tell you :p

 Egg muffin
1,000won
so nice!
my egg yolk was at the bottom so sad, but it was too hot so I didn't turn it when I took dis pic :p

Street side view near our hotel

 不要拍我~不要拍我~while the hand is still posing..hahaha !

Trickeye Museum
Opening time: 0900-2100
Entrance fee: 12,000won
Directon: Hongik University Station (Seoul Subway Line 2), Exit 9.
Go straight 150m, cross the road, and turn left onto Hongik-ro Street.
Go straight 120m, and turn right down the second side street (in

 between TONYMOLY and Holika Holika).
Continue going 100m to arrive at Trickeye Museum on the right.

And we are here ! :)

As it was almost lunch time, we went to a restaurant right opposite the Trickeye Museum.

It was at upstairs so just look up and you will see it :)

I don't know what's the name of the restaurant but the logo is like this :)

The food was ok ok only
No more second time :)
33,000 won for 3 person :)

After that, we went into Trickeye and took some crazy pics.
I'm just too lazy to upload the pics hehehe..

Soon after, we went into the Ice Museum as it is included in the entrance fee :)

But it was too freaking cold so we just went in for a while only

After that, we went to make our own art toy in Santorini cafe which is also inside the museum!

I chose the male one while Fui Yin chose the female one
5,000 won each
There are some pics for you as a reference

 No-faced toy..hahaha !

Ta Dang! Not bad huh? Hahahah !

After Trickeye, we went to Ewha to do some shopping!

I don't have the pic of my shopping haul in my laptop and I'm too lazy to transfer it from my hp :p sooo..ya...

Too Cool for School 52,500won
Etude House 13,500 won
Nature Republic 4,400won
Clio 48,000won
Holika Holika 1,400won
It's Skin 9,600won

Wallet was almost empty already after that haha!

to be honest, I didn't really get many samples as what other people said because I feel guilty for taking the samples away when I have nothing to buy when I enter their stores. But it's ok..usually I don't have the habit of using samples..It's just 女人的天性,免费的越多越好! But after that, I will just keep it aside until I throw away :/

but most products are really cheaper compared to SG
(actually I didn't do any research on the prices in SG but I think it's cheaper in Korea haha)

Eg. I bought a The Faceshop primer in Busan airport which costs me about 13,000won (~USD13) and today when I went to the store in Serangoon it costs ~$32 ! 0__0 almost double the price in Korea!

So, do buy more cosmetics and skincare when you are in Korea!

We went back to our hotel to check in before going for our dinner

GS Hotel is damn awesome and for sure I will stay there again if I go Seoul again!

It's a small hotel but is super nice with its affordable price!

We paid $500+ for 5 days :)

 Our family room :)

There is also a computer provided in the room if you need to search for any information :)
The room has its own modem so the WiFi is super damn FASSSTT !!

Bathroom is nice too but I didn't take pic of it. They provided shower gel and Ryoe shampoo (good for me to try before I buy)!

At first we planned to go Namdaemun market but we changed our plan and went to Myeongdong

 Yoogane Chicken Galbi
This restaurant is so hard to find as Myeongdong is damn big!
So just feel free to ask any of the sales lady who standing outside of the store haha :p

Went to buy med again because had a bad sore throat :(
Hoping to be able to get some antibiotics but too bad in Korea is also POM
So no choice and just got some lozenges for my sore throat
And they sell this as P-med!
Flubiprofen lozenges which is POM in SG
5,000 won each
And I bought another one in Insadong which costs me 3,000won only =.=

 Free side dishes available :)

 Makan!
Sorry I forgot what we've ordered :/
18,900 won for 3 person

2 cute police officers in front of the police station :)

We had a short walk in Myeongdong look look see see before going back to our hotel and that's all for Day 2! :)
